Master is now ready to release in theatres with 100% occupancy as Tamil Nadu government has granted the permission.
Recently, Tamil Nadu government has granted 100 percent occupancy for movie theatres ahead of the release of the film Master. The decision was taken after the Vijay met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapaddi K. Palaniswami last week requesting for a relaxation of the current restrictions as well as an increase in the current theatre occupancy from 50 to 100 percent.
Theatres were allowed to reopen from October 15 with 50 percent capacity across the country but now Tamil Nadu has become the first state to increase the capacity to 100 percent.
As per a government order released on Monday, the statement read: "The seating capacity of theatres/Cinemas/multiplexes shall be permitted to increase from existing 0% to 100% by following the Standard Operating Procedure issued already. Further, in order to create awareness among the spectators, the precautionary measures for Covid 19 shall also be screened during the show time."
So, this is a very pleasant news for all Thalapathy Vijay's fans who have been waiting to watch the Master in theatres from almost 9 months.
Meanwhile, Master is all set to release in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada on January 13 while Hindi Version of the film which is titled as Vijay The Master will release on January 14.
Master, which stars Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist marks the maiden collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. It also stars Malavika Mohanan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and Andreah Jeremiah.
