Mohanlal's Drishyam 2 Movie Teaser Out: The film to be released on Amazon Prime Video

The teaser of the highly anticipated Mohanlal starrer Malyalam Thriller Film Drishyam 2 is out and the film will have its global premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

The teaser of Superstar Mohanlal's much awaited film Drishyam 2 is out. It will begin from where the prequel left off and gives us a glimpse into the life of Georgekutty, played by Mohanlal. The teaser begins with the climax scene from Drishyam, where Mohanlal's Georgekutty tells a cop that he believes the new police station will protect his family. 

Mohanlal has dropped the teaser of the film on January 1, 2021 in the midnight to give his fans a sneak peek. The gripping teaser sets the promise of what lies in store. "Some secrets are meant to stay hidden forever. But there are no secrets that time does not reveal," are the words that appeared in the video. The movie will skip the theatrical route and release directly on Amazon Prime Video.

Talking about Drishyam 2, Mohanlal said," Drishyam was one-of-a-kind-thriller, way ahead of its time, that was loved by all. With Drishyam 2, we are taking the story of Georgekutty and his family ahead from where we left off".Directed by Jeetu Joseph, Drishyam 2 also stars Meena, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Ansiba, Esther, and Saikumar in pivotal roles.

The movie Drishyam was a blockbuster hit and has been remade into Hindi, Tamil. Kamal Haasan played the lead role in the Tamil Remake Paapanasam and Ajay Devgan in the Hindi Drishyam. The movie is centered on a family of four. The elder daughter accidentally kills a men, who harrased her. The rest of the film deals with how the family stays together in hiding the murder.
