There is a dialogue in the film Maara that "There's a pleasure mixed with the pain when you are waiting for someone but no one can understand it until they experience it." Actually, the entire essence of the film is hidden in this dialogue. Being a Remake of the Malyalam Hit Film Charlie, Director Dhilip Kumar has not let the magic of the original film get any less.
Maara is not an entirely romantic drama film, but the touch of the emotions in this film are quite excellent. This film brings you into a world where you will always want to see yourself. It is such an experience that you rarely used to see in cinema.
R Madhavan has done an amazing act in the film and he has really lived the character of Maara. His innocence is still visible on his face which we are seeing from his younger days. Whenever he appears on screen in a movie, it feel like a different type of excitement.
Shraddha Srinath has also done her role with full sincerity. Her character's name is Paru in the film, who tries to find that story in her life which he had heard during her chilhood. In an attempt to find that story, she learns about the Maara. She then tries to get to know about Maara.
