Thalapathy Vijay teams up with Director Nelson for Thalapathy 65

After lot of speculations, now it has now become officially confirmed that Vijay's next film tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 65' will be directed by Nelson Dhillipkumar who is currently awaiting the release of his second film "Doctor" starring Sivakarthikeyan. He made his debut with crime comedy 'Kolamavu Kokila' starring Nayanthara.

Sun Pictures is bankrolling "Thalapathy 65" and this marks the fourth collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay with Sun Pictures. The teaser along with the announcement has been officially released and it suggests that there will be a lot of guns and bullets involved in "Thalapathy 65".

Sun Pictures took to Twitter and wrote: "We are happy to announce Thalapathy @actorvijay's #Thalapathy65bySunPictures directed by @nelsondilpkumar and music by @anirudhofficial #Thalapathy65(sic)."

Director Nelson Dhillipkumar has also expressed his happiness through social media about collaborating with Thalapathy Vijay for the first time-

Thalapathy 65 will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander who is joining hands with Vijay for the third time after Kaththi and Master. He has also shared his excitement through Twitter about the same-

While Thalapathy Vijay is currently waiting for the release of "Master" and reports are suggesting that the film will be going to release on Pongal 2021. Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagraj also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan and Andreah Jeremiah in lead roles. The makers of Master have already confirmed that film will be released only in Theatres.
